Application Of VRML In Network Instruction

This paper selects the study on application of VRML in network instruction as its main topic. First paper summarizes the functions, specialties and developments of VRML. And then paper discusses on education theories and principles of network instruction, constructivism instruction theory is the mainly discussed theory. Paper analyses the modes of VRML applying in network instruction and brings forward the concept of VRML based network instruction. And then paper deeply discusses on the design of VRML based network instruction system. Paper describes the particular design of navigation, interface and courseware making in system and studies on some special problems such as VRML prototypes of interface design, simply emulation and collision detection. After finishing the frame of VRML based network instruction system design paper takes out VRML prototypes and some other codes as the results of the study.
