New basic education curriculum reform in China has begun. The new curriculum standard calls for : more teacher-students intercourse, interactive teacher-students relationship and initiative educational environment. Teacher-students interaction is a important part of the instructional process in classroom and affects students' learning deeply. This study focused on the influence of teacher-student interactive learning environment to the students' biology study in junior middle school.It has discovered that , biology learning in a class can be investigated from following 5 dimensions: interest in biology, learning ability of initiative, learning psychological environment, problem-discovering & resolving ability, cooperation & communion. A 5-subscale questionnaire entitled Biology Learning Questionnaire was developed to measure the dimensions effectively. Classroom Environment Scale also was adopted in evaluation.The results showed that :(l)In biological classroom environments , the level of teacher-student interaction can be divided into two types, high-frequency type and low-frequency type.(2) The level of teacher-student interaction has strong effect on the junior middle school students' biology learning, high-frequency teacher-student interaction promoted the students' interest in biology higher than the low one.(3) The level of teacher-student interaction has strong effect on the classroom environment. The involvement, task orientation, order & organization of students in high-frequency interaction class are better than that of students in the low one. (4) The classroom environment was positively related to students' biology learning. The behavior of teaching and learning should be adjusted to better the learning environment and improve the students' biology study.
