Concern Over Life

Education is originally the cause facing and promoting life. However, school education in reality only pays respect to knowledge and utility and forgets its real aim, which makes education ignore,oppress and harm life. So that so many phenomena of educational alienation have take place in reality. Facing the modern man's concern and inquiry of life, modern education need rethink the value orientation in reality. Concerning over life and promoting life should be our wish to education that is the correct choice of the modern education. On the basis of this understanding this paper combs the life views of domestic and foreign culture, holds the pulse of times, deeply catches on life and tentatively conceives the new educational pattern which orients educational value by concern over life on the base of reflecting the phenomena of vital alienation in realistic education. As a paper of probing educational thinking, views and value orientation, the paper chooses the speculation as the main research method and hopes to propose feasible suggests for educational reformation in reality.This paper has three parts: The first part is about the understanding of life. Through looking back to the historical development of domestic and foreign views on life and analyzing the thinking about life sticking out in modern, the part generalizes life's essence and features which are theory basis of the paper.The second part analyzes phenomena about vital alienation in school education. Through revealing and analyzing phenomena about despising human beings, oppressing vital vigor and distorting vital significance, the parts point out educational deflection and mistake in realistic school. The third part tentatively discusses concern over individual life, the new educational value orientation. The education concerned with life should begin fromrespecting life, consummate and transcend life constantly, especially pay attention to the experience to life which is always ignored.Human beings dream of the infinite and the perfect. We believe that education concerned over life must promote vital value and realize vital abundance and development to the great extent.
