Feasibility Study On Setting Up An Altitude Training Camp In Yuzhong County, Gansu Province

On the basis of literature review, on-the-spot observations and comparative analysis, this article has made a feasibility study on setting up an altitude training camp in Yuzhong county of Gansu province. It is concluded that Yuzhong is a favorable location for altitude training in terms of geographical climatic rear supply and living conditions. It is complementary in geographical distribution to our national altitude training camps like Duoba and Kunming. It has its own advantages concerning climatic and altitude conditions and it conveniently forms a 3-stage altitude training program of Lanzhou-Yuzhong-XinLong Mountains .The author holds that Yuzhong is a perfect location for regional altitude training and it is possible to bring about excellent training and economic outcomes.
