The relationship between School Examination and School Education is a basic theoretic issue in educational examination science that must be studied and awaiting being lucubrated, at the same time it is one of the important practical tasks that the School Examination reform in China and nations all over the world are faced with now. It not only relates to its own perfecting and developing of the School Examination, but also directly influence the efficiency and benefit of School Education, as well as the developing process of material and spiritual civilization.On account of the 2 aspects that the relationship between School Examination and School Education can be divided into relations of intramural and external complications, this thesis takes The Two's Relation as the focused discussing topic. On the basis of summarily analyzing the connotation and category of School Examination, as well as its status and effects in School Education, this thesis theoretically probed The Two's Relation from intramural and external aspects, seeked the reforming effects, existing problems and reasons, moreover, bring forward the countermeasure that rightly treat with the Two's Relation based on the real-life situation of China. The basic viewpoints and elementary conclusions are as following:School Examination is a sort of activity that diagnosing, testing and evaluating instruction effects, which was designed and carried out by the school itself according to the demands of the object of School Education and teaching. School Examination issubject to School Examinations System, mainly includes posting examination, diagnosing examination, achievement examination and eligibility examination.School Examination is one part of School Education, as well as the important instrument to achieve the object of School Education. It acts on the mood and rhythm of the both sides of instruction, keeps adjusting the steps of teaching and learning, drives the direction of teaching development, strengthens the teacher and students' motivation that pursuing the aim and the will that achieving the aim, accelerates to improve theefficiency and effect of School Education.The relationship between School Examination and School Education is exactly the connection and function of School Examination to the intramural and external complications of School Education. Amongst them, School Examination's position is subject to School Education, at the same time the functions are independent to each other, they impress each other and have the same object. Therefore, their relationship is a kind of dependent and crossing-effecting relation.Nowadays, along with the reforming of School Education and School Examination, their patterns of assorting with each other changed a little, but still have not thoroughly turned. The problems are existing in different degree, such as School Education is subject to School Examination, it takes the high score as the aim that teaching and learning seeks, Examination design and practice is not enough scientific and is wild about copying the mode of the elective examinations out of school, the examination statute construction lags behind the demands of examination practice developing, etc. The roots are stale concept, reversed position, garbled character, random operating and disturbing by the environment.According to the real-life situation of China, for the purpose of rightly dealing the relations between School Education and School Examination, making School Examination serving the object of School Education indeed, we must refresh the examination concept, truly orientate School Examination, perfect .the SchoolExamination statute father, as well as design and practice process, and keep optimizingthe internal and external environment.
