Chinese is an important subject in National College Entrance Examination(NCEE).Chinese Education is a crucial subject in elementary education.In a long term,Chinese education in middle schools has been deeply limited and restrained by NCEE rules.In order to understand the relationship between these two parts,this essay chronologically sorts out the basic developing situation of Chinese in NCEE and Chinese Education in middle schools throughout different historical periods in nearly recent 100 years,figuring out their relationship and finding regular patterns by means of documentary analysis,historical methods and survey research methods.Horizontally,this essay integrates this relationship into dynamic social environment and focuses on the interaction of Chinese in NCEE and Chinese Education in middle schools,which will be affected by external objective conditions.There are seven chapters in this essay:Chapter 1 gives a general idea of the origin and meaning of this research,a literature review,defining the relevant concept of Chinese in NCEE and Chinese education in middle schools as well as formulating the outline and methods of this research.Chapter 2 analyzes Chinese in NCEE and external factors that impact it,including the relationship among social politics,economy and culture.Chapter 3 reviews the developing process of Chinese in NCEE and Chinese education in middle schools during the period of the Republic of China and analyzes their interaction and enlightenment to current situation.Chapter 4 studies the beginning development of Chinese in National College Entrance Examination and Chinese education in middle schools before the period of resumption of National College Entrance Examination,ranging from the establishment of New China to the end of the Cultural Revolution,grasping their features and looking for the origin of current issues.Chapter 5 researches the development of Chinese in NCEE and Chinese education in middle schools during the period ranging from the resumption of National College Entrance Examination to new reforms of Chinese subject,elaborating the relationship,causes and enlightenment to current situation.Chapter 6 refreshes the process of NCEE reformation and Chinese education in middle schools after the new curriculum reform by means of survey,phenomena combination and result analysis and concludes a basic truth:Chinese in NCEE still excessively restrained Chinese education in middle schools at that time.Chapter 7 analyzes the essential reason why Chinese in National College Entrance Examination still excessively restrained Chinese education in middle schools,considering national macro policy and action on reform of National College Entrance Examination after the new curriculum reform.This chapter also grasps the principle aspect—Chinese in NCEE,suggesting concept and advice for improving its reform system and enhancing good interaction with Chinese education in middle schools.Conclusions of this essay mainly include:First,the historical reason of the phenomenon that National College Entrance Examination directed Chinese education in middle schools is that NCEE had a prominent status after the Cultural Revolution,since the state totally was depending on it to select talents.So that National College Entrance Examination held the mission of 'choosing elites for the state'.Through the trauma of the Cultural Revolution,Chinese education in middle schools had been damaged greatly.Due to immaturity of subject construction,it had to appeal to requirement of National College Entrance Examination.The restraint of baton of National College Entrance Examination on development of Chinese education came into being gradually.Second,National College Entrance Examination should have been one part in Chinese education in middle schools.However,when both advantageous and disadvantageous affect produced by the result of NCEE on individuals and schools are too huge,National College Entrance Examination has dramatically surpassed the position of a single procedure.External objective conditions have gradually promoted NCEE into an opposite side that could intervene and restrain the development of Chinese education in middle schools.Even it is considered as the purpose of Chinese education in middle schools.In 1990s,the relationship of National College Entrance Examination and Chinese education in middle schools already became extremely abnormal.The exam-aimed Chinese education in middle schools with the purpose of satisfying the National College Entrance Examination distorted the essence of education,prohibited the healthy development of Chinese education in middle schools,and exerted negative influences on teachers' and students' physical and mental health.Third,the new curriculum reform in Chinese education in middle schools,which becomes popular in this century,does not essentially change the abnormal relationship between National College Entrance Examination and Chinese education in middle schools.The main reason is that we only grasp one side of this contradiction---Chinese education in middle schools.And the force of changing external circumstances that forms this contradiction was not enough.In this contradiction,the main side should be National College Entrance Examination.Therefore,this essay focuses on how to improve the reform system of NCEE and promoting positive their interaction.Based on related conclusion,this essay points out the concept and advice to alleviate the contradiction between NCEE and Chinese education in middle schools.As for external conditions of interaction between NCEE and Chinese education in middle schools,the government needs to build up correct view on talents,improve employment system,reduce the distance across different fields and speed up democratic process.The educational administrative department needs to enhance management level,reduce evaluation of fame and wealth,intensify NCEE reformation and elevate university education quality.Schools need to maintain the standpoint of education,consolidate the objective of cultivation,change view of evaluation and reform evaluation system.Society and families should rationally treat NCEE,being less targeting.Chinese education in middle schools should stick with the objective of cultivation,consolidate the foundation of subjects,persist in the direction of curriculum reform and being determined to implement the content of curriculum reform.During NCEE reformation,the suggest that changing examination methods includes increasing tests of examining ability of expression and communication in Chinese,attempting to combine open-book mode with closed-book mode,reforming examination types.The advice of improving the reform of exam content includes:tests of Chinese knowledge need to be closer to the present age and students' living necessity;the content of 'modem article reading' should be wilder and more various;the exercise quality of'tests on writing capacity' should be enhanced.The suggestion that improving evaluation on NCEE includes:enhancing the level and quality of exam evaluation;properly making use of marks of Chinese in National College Entrance Examination.
