To meet the needs of implementing Quality Education, especially new curricula innovation in K-16 Education in China, based on the theoretical and practical Multi-Intelligences (MI) researches both domestic and abroad, this thesis attempts to construct, from the perspective of instructional design, a localized theoretical and practical framework of Mi-Based Personalized Learning, which includes the model of curriculum development and implementation, design of learning resources and assessment of learning effects, with an effort to provide a new effective and practicable approach to reform education & instruction.The introduction of the thesis briefly analyzes the educational background and the development of relevant researches about MI all around the world and presents the purpose, value-orientation, and general research framework of this thesis.Chapter! mainly introduces the MI theory and its new viewpoints of education & instruction, focusing on the interrelationships among MI theory, Quality Education and Personalized Learning, and explores the new operational approaches to research Personalized Learning from the perspective of MI theory.Chapter 2, the main body of this research, synthesizes the viewpoint of curriculum of MI theory, constructs three curriculum implementation models of Mi-Based Personalized Learning, develops and designs patterns of MI course accordingly.Focusing on learning resources design of Mi-Based Personalized Learning, Chapter 3 assembles varieties of learning resources that improve children's Ml, explores the relationship between educational technology and MI as well as the integration of IT and MI, and discusses the new approaches to create environment of Mi-Based Personalized Learning, including school environment (real environment) and web-based environment (virtual environment).With the view to the assessment of the implementing effect of Mi-Based Personalized Learning curriculum models, Chapter 4 analyzes the characteristic of different views of educational evaluation,presents a new kind of educational assessment------Multi-Dimension assessment------to transcendtraditional evaluation, and elaborates the approaches to implement the Multi-Dimension assessment.Concerning how to initiate and promote school MI plan, Chapter 5 discusses the MI guidelines under which the school uses MI to teach, the possible challenges encountered by teachers in implementing their MI plans and the relationship between MI and the teachers' professional development.
