As the sub urbanization of Pingdingshan proceeds and social levels differentiate during structure transformation periods, the population proportion of migrations from central urban area and from other parts of the country have rapidly increased since 1990's.The complex nature of population structure makes the mutual association in different kinds of residents as urgent needs of accelerating the development of edge communities. Therefore to study the tactics of constructing neighborhood circumstance which could promote social association in different kinds of residents is an important measure to assure the development of edge community quicker and steadier.In order to promote social associations in different residents and accelerate the Conformity in edge communities, this thesis discusses mutual actions between the physical factors and the non-physical factors and their external expression through positive analysis. At the aid of Behavior-Environment analysis and questionnaire investigation, the thesis analyzes the promoting and restricted effects that neighborhood environment act on social mutual associations in different kinds of residents, and researches the objective needs and subjective expectations of neighborhood circumstance. And at last, tactics and measures of constructing neighborhood circumstance are brought forward in order to give full play to neighborhood functions and accelerate conformity in edge communities.The thesis includes five chapters. The chapter 1 traces back to different emphasin on neighborhood circumstance construction in neighborhood theories and their practice in edges and suburbs. Based on the situations of neighborhood construction in Pingdingshan edge communities and the concept of neighborhood circumstance, chapter 2 establishes the evaluation system and the researching frame of neighborhood circumstance. Chapter 3 analyzes the time-space distribution of social associations in different kinds of residents and obtains the objective needs of their social actions. Chapter 4 researches different residents' subjective expectations on neighborhood circumstance during other non-physical factors shape their forms. Chapter 5 brings the tactics and measures forward on the physical planning level and social development level.
