In development process of human society , there comes an obviously varietied trend that the time people used for labor is gradually reducing while leisure is increasing .No matter now or future, a learner is not only a laborer but also a leisurer, therefore, education should give the adquate concern with both people ' s labour and leisure.This paper on study of leisure education is divided into four parts .The first part: the social background of leisure education.Education should pay attention to the person's life that is complete, and of which an important component part leisure is .However, in realistic life.it is also leisure which is perplexing many people .Deeply investigated the probtems of people's leisure life, it is not difficult to discover that the phenomena of people's leisure time being deprived, abused and narrowed are still very widespread in today' s society.
