Metacognition is a psychological concept raised by American psychologist Flevll, j. H in 1976. It is metacognition of metacognition. It is the self-consciousness, self-supervision and self-adjustment to the cognition activity by the individual.. Generally, the structure includes knowledge, experience and supervision of metacognition. Metacognitive ability is the ability of supervision, adjustment and self-evaluation. If the students have the metacognitive ability, they will change the declarative knowledge into the procedural knowledge, form the right cognitive guidance, and arouse the innovative consciousness and innovative ability. The metacognitive ability also can bring every positive factor of the students and improve the quality of the students.In the modern society and information world, we should keep on studying and progressing to keep up to the date. It is necessary for everyone to learn during the whole life. In the school time, the most important thing is not to learn the static knowledge, but to learn how to learn. The ability is of great significance for further study. In the guidance of traditional education, we only emphasize the teacher' s teaching activity. We do not pay much attention to the students' understanding, feedback of knowledge and self-adjustment of the students' cognition. The teachers and students are facing a huge information world as computers and multimedia net are implied in daily teaching. The teaching emphasis now is to let the students know the character of various knowledge, find their defect and develop the metacognitive ability of self-adjustment, self-supervision and self-guidance. Therefore, the development of metacognitive ability is the key to promote the learning ability and cultivate the ability of lifelong study.The teaching of developing the metacognitive ability lay great emphasis on the observation, application and understanding to the learning process. It helps the students to know, to show and to find themselves. The purpose of metacognition is to monitor the development of the cognition activity (that is, give the information of the development ) and indirectly promote the development. And the net gives the students the right environment to express, self-question and develop the self-consciousness. The environment of record tracing and electric expression is good for students' development and improvement of the students' metacognitive ability.The thesis is based on the relation between metacognition and net-teaching, and the character of net-teaching and cognitive theory. It pays much attention to the teaching strategy of the development of metacognitive ability to arouse the students thinking and improve the efficiency. It wants to form a new net-based mathematics teaching method, which is different from the traditional ones. The thesis is combined with my teaching website "Mathematics Teaching Online " , and set a background of the development of metacognitive ability for the application of the information technology. I want to explore the web-based teaching strategy, stimulate the students' interests in mathematics learning and improve the teaching efficiency by combining the traditional teaching and new modern information technology teaching. There are six teaching strategies in this thesis. The first one is to improve the teacher' s metacognition. The second one is to improve the student' s cognition to cognitive individuals. The third, systemically input the knowledge of mathematics metacognition. The next one is to enrich the students' experience of metacognition. The fifth one is to promote the students to arrange the learning process. And the last is to organize the evaluation scientifically.Mathematics is an important subject of developing the students' metacognitiveability. After I made the teaching practice and experiment based on the web, I lay stress on improving the teaching strategy and analyzing the experimental result.
