The Significane, Problems And Countermeasures Against Citizen Consciousness Fostering In School Education

The thesis studies and delves some theoretical and pratical problems in developing the student's citizen consciousness.This thesis points out that school education is the foundation of citizen education and the main channed in implementing citizen education, and that the school is the base for citizen education. The essential task of school education is to foster the students into good citizens with the consciousness of serving the main part , the consciousness of having rights and duties at the same time, the consciousness of democracy and equality, the consciousness of having public morality, the patriotic consciousness and the consciousness of learning the humanities. On this basis, the article further points out that all ording to the present reality, fostering the students' citizen consciousness has important practical significance. Besides, in the light of practical research, there exists problems not to be ignored regarding the student's citizen consciousness. This thesis makes a deepgoing analysis of the origin and offers appropriate countermeasures.
