| This article is mainly about the application of APOS theory to guide the mathematics concept teaching in high school, with a careful review of the concept teaching under the traditional teaching view. APOS theory is a theory of studying constructivism, which aims at studying the learning process of mathematics concepts. The theory points out: while the students are studying the mathematics concepts, they are goingthrough four-stage psychological construction - activity, process,target and diagrammatic form. APOS theory relatively prevails abroad at present and it has already been widely used in many aspects, such as function concept, abstract algebra, dispersed mathematics, calculus. The characteristics of mathematics concepts of high school are abstractness, formalization, systematization, conciseness. According to my teaching experience for many years, I explain the concept teaching under the guidance of APOS theory and lead the students to understand a mathematics concepts diversely from the realistic prototype of concepts, the abstract process of concepts, the formalization of concepts and the thinking method of mathematics, in conformity with the educational principle that students construct the concept voluntarily. Then I demonstrate my argument by using instances. |
