Curriculum reform is the core of elementary education reform, and spreading integrative science curriculum has been a key factor of curriculum at our country's elementary education stage. As we know, the objective of integrative science curriculum is to regard students' development as the basic ideal and to cultivate their science literacy comprehensively. How can integrative science curriculum exerts the function that cultivates students' science literacy by means of learning assessment? Indubitablely, research on this question must has its theortical and practical significance. This article considers students' science literacy's sustainable development as its research angle of view, and attempts to answer the aforesaid question . At the beginnng , this article analyzes the malpractices and challenges of traditional learning assessment in science curriculum , then expounds that new type of view of learning assessment basing on "students' development ideal" should comply with some principles, i.e. , developing priciple, affinity principle, exploring principle, individulizing principle and pluralism principle. Furthermore, this article analyzes the structure of science literacy and the gradation relationships of assessment, and points out that the objective of learning assessment in integrative science curriculum is not only to make fact judgement and value judgement on students' learning, but to promote their science literacy's sustainable development as well. Meanwhile, on the basis of above-mentioned objective, we can make out a manipulatable assessment criterion. As to how to exert learning assessment successfully, this article has some probes, and attempts to form a learning assessment system . This system advocates collaboration between teachers and students, attaches importance to testing, daily assessment , science explorations' portfolio assessment and science experiments' authentic assessment, and guides students to assess themselves. To sum up, this system requires its ideal, objective, measures and results be "appreciated" and be received by all students. At last, the article reflects rationally on how to gurarantee the effectiveness of learning assessment in integrative science curriculum.
