A head-teacher is the organizer, educator and leader of a class. Not only the quality of his work decides students' well-growing in body and mind, but also affects the whole administration. The construction of its evaluation criterion system not only can enrich the theories of head-teacher's work, but also be good for the head-teacher's own growth, and promote the scientific, standard course of the head-teacher's administration, and improve th/5 administrative standard and quality of the school. The writer tries to construct the evaluation criterion or its system of middle school head-teacher's work that are on the basis of probing into the evaluation criteria and general theoretical questions initially of middle school head-teacher's work. Because of it, this thesis emphasizes the following two issues.The first issue is the basic theory in constructing the evaluation criterion and its system of middle school head-teacher's work: It begins with revealing the connotation of middle school head-teacher's work, analyze the evaluation concept, characteristics of middle school head-teacher's work. In addition, it has much specific analysis and discussion, such as: the evaluation criterion or its functions, constructive factors, the basis for establishing criteria, principle and methods, etc. It points out: The evaluation criterion of middle school head-teacher's work is the measure or standard which be used to have value judgment for head-teacher's work; which consists of evaluation contents, indexes, standard, etc. For constructing the evaluation criterion of middle school head-teacher's work, we should base on the relevant law of our country, the needs of the society, the theoretical research achievement and practical experience of middle school head-teacher's work and the theoretical research achievement and practical experience of developmental evaluation of teacher's, obeying the scientific, all-round, acceptable, measurable, guided principle strictly; Carrying out in accordance with the evaluation methodsand procedure for establishing middle school head-teacher's work.The second is the construction of the criterion and its system of middle school head-teacher's work: The writer guided by the theory, the rulers and the methods of the evaluation of head-teacher's work, and combined with the fact of a head-teacher's work experience, and referred to the suitable facts about the research on the evaluation of the head-teacher's work of other scholars. From the procedure, the effect and the development of head-teacher's work in middle school, try to construct a criterion and its system that is fit for the characteristics of the head-teacher's work in our country, and the requirement of the recent quality education.
