Head teacher team construction plays a significant role in school management and the quality of head teacher team has a connection with the educational work.Thus it is important to analyze the current problems of urban junior high school class teacher team construction.To comprehensively upgrade the school management,it is critical to study how to solve the problems through a case study of Yue Yang Number 9 junior high school.Survey results show that there are many problems in the head teacher team construction of urban middle school currently,and the most typical ones are as follows: firstly,the head teacher's team structure is quite imbalanced due to aging,unreasonable structure of discipline and the gender imbalance.Secondly,it is common that head teachers are lack of self-management,which is mainly displayed in the aspect of weak professional role identification and empirical management mode,etc.Thirdly,the school administration system is still imperfect because of the unsound recruitment and employment system,unclear responsibility boundaries of head teachers,imperfect evaluation system and incomplete training system.To solve the problems in the urban middle school head teacher team construction,we have to undertake the following measures: first of all,the system of head teacher growth shall be established to improve the education management ability of young head teachers by the “blue-project”,“head teacher workshop” and school-based training mechanism.Then,establish head teacher evaluation mechanisms on the basis of competence to standardize the management of the head teacher team and to construct performance evaluation system based on the competency of head teacher.Last but not least,we need to perfect head teacher team construction system by organization system construction,reasonable system of economic benefits,scientific incentive mechanism.All these measures can increase the head teacher team construction of urban middle school in an all round way.
