Research On The Talent Development Mode Of UEICE

The cooperative education conducted by a university with an enterprise and scientific research institution (UEICE) refers to the cooperation among an university, enterprise and scientific research institution, the mode of which is to combine theory with practice, to develop students practical competence and innovation energy, and finally to improve students full quality. This is a new mode, which accords with the current development rule of economy and technology, and the trends of the international high-education reformation and development. The urgent affairs of high-education reformation is to probe into the new mode of the cooperative education in new situation, which is of actual significance to train the up-and-coming talents.This dissertation tries to find an maneuverable and exemplary talent development mode by studying the theories of the cooperative education system, combining with the specific situation of our country, especially UEICE practice of Zhuzhou Institute of Technology, and summing up the experiences of UEICE.This dissertation is assisted by "Research and Practice of the Practice Base Construction Outside Campus"- the major research item of the National Education Science 'Fifteen' Plan, and "Research and Practice of the Talent Development Mechanism of UEICE"- Hunan NormalUniversity Education Reform and Research Item in 2001. It has four parts as follows:1. Define the concept of UEICE, analyze the theoretical elements of its cause, and study the reason and developing situation of UEICE at home and abroad.2. Try to find a successful exemplary new mode of UEICE on the basis of the UEICE practice of Zhuzhou Institute of Technology, and research and sum-up of the theories.3. Set forth the value of UEICE, the apocalypse from practice, and the difficulties UEICE faces, in light of theoretical research and practice.4. Do research on UEICE operation mechanism, management mechanism, and development countermeasures, by aiming at the difficulties UEICE faces under the circumstances of new knowledge and economy, on the basis of the common understanding of UEICE in High Education fields.
