It is one of the basic features of quality-oriented education to let student-centering habit into full play and perfect it. The training of student-centering habit is the goal for the reform of the 21st century education and is also the result of the reflection on traditional history education. What's more, it is the trend of the development of the times. The author has made a probe into the relation between the training of student-centering habit and history teaching, focusing on the combination of education theory and history teaching. The author holds the following opinions:1) The play of educator-centering role is the presupposition and guarantee of the training of student-centering habit. It is impossible for teachers lacking in centering position to train students with centering habits.The educator should set up his own teaching view point set up his own teaching view point of communication and mutual motion, teacher-student relation view point of teaching and learning promoting each other, the learning viewpoint of building students, at the same time, he should make full use of the actual situations of teaching and learning and all opt various types of teaching method, so as to fulfill the training of the Student-Centering habit.2) History teaching is also the learning process of the education receiver's centering learning, in which the method of " active probing and cooperative learning" should be adopted. In the practice of history teaching, one should promote the reform of students' learning style and perfect student-centering habit by classroom self-learning, students' cooperative learning and probing learning.3) Many methods for students' education should be combined so as to promote the development of student-centering habit. The comprehensive use of such methods as written examination, evaluation on students' history practice, evaluation on students' growth file and students' self-evaluation, enables the students to understand and summarize their own situations in time and develop and consolidate their centering habit in adjusting their learning strategy and perfecting their learning behavior.
