| From analyzing the characteristics of a teacher's work, we can easily find that teaching by example is a powerful tool in education. During the course of education, a teacher can become an exemplary role model to the students. Influenced by psychology and character, and by the genera- lization of educational values conveyed, students may imperceptibly begin to imitate the teacher's creative activi- ties at first. Gradually, imitation could turn into initiations, growing students to become creative young talents. In conclusion, the values a good teacher can provide should not be limited to the more traditionally defined attributes: advanced educational concepts, flexible teaching methods and styles, various study guides for students, updated teaching topics and content, and a relaxed while active education environment. A successful teacher needs to be an educator as well as a promoter, a learner and a researcher, a critic but also acreative contributor - promoting and nurturing students' creativity by acting as a role model. |
