A Study On The Current Situation And Countermeasures That Contemporary Party Members Of College Student Play The Vanguard Exemplary Role

As a special group in the party organization,party members of college student are the new strength to optimize the structure of the party members and the important force of strengthening the party’s advanced construction. The party constitution clearly stipulates that communist party members must play the vanguard exemplary roles fully, and as the party members of college student in the new era, playing the vanguard exemplary role is not only an important yardstick of the party construction at the grass-roots level, but also an important guarantee of strengthening the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the party organization. Especially in the day that the party central committee vigorously strengthen the party’s advanced and purity construction, carry out the anti-corruption and educational activities of party members such as" Three Stricts and Three Steadies","Two Studies, One Action", the vanguard exemplary role that party members of college student play has a more important practical significance. However, owing to the influence of all aspects in reality, some party members of college student failed to establish the advanced model and failed to play the vanguard exemplary role fully, so it is necessary and important that we should continue to explore how to play the vanguard exemplary role of party members of college student better in new period.In order to understand the status that contemporary party members of college student play the vanguard exemplary role and in order to promote the vanguard exemplary role that party members of college student play, on the basis of defining the standard of vanguard exemplary role of party members of college student, the questionnaire was designed from the aspects of the leading, the backbone and the bridge, selected the party members and non-party members from different types of universities as the object of investigation, analysised and summarized the situation of the party members of college student in playing the vanguard exemplary role. It was good that party members of college student played vanguard exemplary roles in the overall situation, but there were still some party members of college student having problems such as the infirm political position, the desalination of ideal conviction, the weak organizational discipline and the weak consciousness of responsibility and dedication. This was not only because of the party members of college student’s low level cognition of party members’ role ,value of choice deviating in the party’s highest value orientation,lacking of enterprising spirit and playing down the sense of responsibility and historic sense of mission, but also the result of universities’ neglecting of education management. Colleges and universities did not good job in the attitude of continuing education of party members of college student, the content and methods of education, college student party branch’s construction and long-term mechanism for the construction. The social contradictions and conflicts, the shortcomings of the market economy and the influence of network information all impacted on the formation of college students’ correct values and choices of value orientation. So combining with the creative practice of the students’ party construction in universities, the paper put forward the feasible methods and strategies to promote the vanguard exemplary role that party members of college student play from the perspective of party members of college student, universities and party committees in universities.First of all, party members of college students should continue to enhance the sense of party members,strengthen self-discipline awareness,sense of faith, consciousness of party constitution,sense of responsibility, innovation consciousness and awareness of action, in order to improve the consciousness and level of playing the vanguard exemplary role. Secondly, colleges and universities should create a harmonious campus environment and healthy internet environment for college students to learn and grow.Finally, party committees should continue to strengthen the education of college students,provide them with advisory services, organize experience exchange sessions, improve the mechanisms of rewards, punishments and supervision, and build platforms for them to play the vanguard exemplary role.
