It is an important way to conduct moral education in primary and secondary schools to set up heroic and exemplary characters through teaching materials.In junior high school,Chinese and Morality and the Rule of Law are the main subjects to conduct moral education through heroic and exemplary characters for young students.Examing the internal and external image and the presentation of the heronic and exemplary characters in the two sets of textbooks comparatively,can not only reveal the overall image characteristics and the core of the quality of the heronic and exemplary characters in junior high school textbook,but also clarify the different educational missions undertaken by the two disciplines in the heroic model education.At the same time,through the examination of the two sets of textbooks in the image of heroic and exemplary characters,it can also provide some reference suggestions for teachers in the use of textbooks.On the basis of literature research,this paper takes the "respectability" and "learnability" of heroic and exemplary characters as a two-dimensional analysis framework to examine and evaluate the effectiveness of setting up heroic and exemplary characters in two sets of textbooks.CONCLUTIONS:1.In the textbook,the heroes and models are mainly reflected in the moral quality of the characters——courage,which is manifested as sacrificing for justice,persevering for live,having responsibility and correcting the mistake immediately.2.The learnability of heroes and models in textbooks is mainly reflected in:(1)In the external image of the characters,the two textbooks both attach importance to the popularization and diversification.Comparatively speaking,the heroic and exemplary characters in Chinese textbook have the characteristics of "traditional" and "internationalization",while the heroic and exemplary characters in Morality and the Rule of Law have the characteristics of "modernity" and "ethnicization".(2)In terms of moral character,the two textbooks both attach importance to the patriotism and diversification.Comparatively speaking,the textbook "Chinese" emphasizes the good personal qualities of the heronic and exemplary characters,such as "diligence and frugality","benevolence and generosity","preciseness and practicality".The textbook "Morality and the Rule of Law" focuses on the prosocial quality such as "honesty and friendship","solidarity and mutual assistance","innovation and creation" and "nature protection".(3)In terms of presentation mode,both textbooks focus on the humanization and subjectivity.Comparatively speaking,the textbook of Chinese is more inclined to the way of exhortation and guidance which adapt to the characters' qualities.The textbook Morality and the Rule of Law focuses on the way of equal dialogue style,which to be compatible with prosocial qualities of the heroic and exemplary characters.Combined with the basic requirements of junior high school students' model learning,this study believes: First,in terms of teaching objectives,teachers should respect the design concept of textbooks,fully reflect students' dominant position in the process of value cognition,value understanding and value identification,and pay attention to equal communication and effective dialogue between students and teachers.Secondly,in teaching content,the teacher should pay attention to the hero model characteristics of The Times and national characteristics,gender characteristics,job characteristics and the characteristics of the ideological and supplement some empirical reading material as appropriate combined with the psychological cognition of contemporary junior high school students and the actual need of moral development level in the process of uiding junior high school students to learn by examples.Thirdly,in terms of teaching methods,according to the specific requirements of the application of the model demonstration method,teachers can guide students to independently carry out role-playing,value debate,site visit and historical data excavation,etc.,so as to provide the possibility for junior high school students to consciously learn from examples in their daily life.
