Based on humanism embodied in traditional Chinese Confucianism, western humanism philosophy, the theory on humans in terms of Marxism and the modern management theory, in compliance with the possibility, inevitability and urgency of applying humanism to school mamagement, the view that modern schools need management based on humanism is put forward in the paper.Management based on humanism for teachers must be realized through such channels as learning of teachers' inner requirements, respecting teachers' mastership position, completing constantly principals' knowledge structure and personality, creating the working condition of respecting and understanding teachers, making the school culture sound and stimulating teachers' potential. Humanism should be fully displayed in management by kinds of means and measures, including administration, economy and political education.In process of education and management, students have the right to be respected, that is Respecting Education. Humanism must be reflected in management.Last but not least, the author's own practice of managing schools has proved that school management based on humanism benefits boil the development of schools and that of students.
