Today, Project Learning has been listed into The Curricular Plan of Full-time Common Senior School (Tentative Recension) as the national required curriculum. An upsurge of spreading and studying the Project Learning has been raised all over the country. As a teacher of teaching a certain curriculum, how to direct the students to learn and practise the Project Learning has become an urgent problem that everyone wants to know clearly.Though the Project Learning is nation-based curriculum, it also has a school-based character. So it should be a basic train of thinking to start the Project Learning basing upon a native area and native school's own reality.It has a really practical significance for us teachers who are experiencing teaching personally to research the integration of subjective teaching and the Project LearningThis project has raised the entire train of thinking on tactical integration of the Project Learning and chemistry curriculum according to the experience of teaching practice, and this project has also offered some examples that others can refer, using the method of Acting Research, around the integration of the Project Learning and chemistry curriculum, presupposing the fact of the Project Learning in Yongchang No. 1 Senior High School, adopting the method and experiences of the Project Learning from Jiangsu Province, Shanghai and other places.The Project Learning means a certain kind of course that the students can learn creatively, practically and openly by themselves around a certain topic or problem in the form of learning in groups. Yongchang No. 1 Senior High School has carried out the Project Learning from the spring of 2001. So far, we have been doing the experiment in two grades. During the two-year's experiment, both the students and the teachers have got a further understanding on the Project Learning. We also have found out the basic formation of carrying out the Project Learning, the main program to manage the whole work and the main train of thinking to evaluate the Project Learning.The integration of the Project Learning and chemistry course is to integrate an aim, to integrate the teaching thought, teaching content and teaching method. According to the train of thinking of School-based Curriculum Development, first we should analyze the theory and conception of teaching, formulate aim of chemistry curriculum in Project Learning. Second, in order to realize the aim, we should define the main formation of the Project Learning. From the researching we have known that we can carry out the ProjectLearning by the two methods and formations - Active- researching Curriculum and Classroom-teaching Curriculum. These two forms exist and replenish each other. The basic program of the Active- researching Curriculum should be carried out step by step just as follows: study theory -choose the topic-organize the beginning of the topic-carry out the research-summarize the material of the research-show out the achievement -attend the conference of dissertation and reporting-evaluate the achievement. Of course we can choose different learning technological progress on the base of basic progress according to the different importance and method of our work. The basic program of the Classroom-teaching Curriculum is: raising the problem-designing the program-settling the problem-drawing out the conclusion-summarizing and evaluating- finishing the program.At last, in order to ensure the effect and quality of the Project Learning, we should pay special attention to the teaching of research method, try our best to inform an open system of chemistry teaching, improve our teaching method constantly, initiate the method of dispersing thinking, learning by oneself and teaching method of questioning etc. greatly.
