The starting point of teaching research, as the methodology foundation of constructing teaching theories, is the basis and the starting point of teaching research. Reflection and reconstruction of the starting point of teaching research helps to unify teaching research at a high level, and to direct teaching research and teaching practice. The dissertation, by means of dialectical thinking, reconstructs the starting-point of teaching research, based on reflecting the traditional teaching and teaching theories.By analyzing the core ideals of teaching concepts and the research objects and the elements of teaching system, the dissertation concludes that determinism is the traditional starting point of teaching research, that they separate subjects from objects, and that common theory of system is applied. Though most traditional teaching researches are closely related with problems about human, they seldom start from these problems. In fact, they are always concentrated on exploring rules or essences of teaching.The developments of modern science indicate that determinism is going to go bankruptcy and the world is between determinism and non-determinism. The complexity science such as the theory of self-organization conies to be the dominant methodology. In this case, determinism is gradually abandoned, and it is no longer fit for being the starting point of teaching research.In fact, teaching research is closely related to the factors of human-being on many aspects. Many conundrums about methodology could be answered only by dint of the existence form of human-being. So it is very important to regard the existence form of human-being as the starting point of teaching research. As the existence form of human-being is consistent with which of the world, the starting point of teaching research should be the existence of human-being that opens to the future, be growing and a complex adaptive system (CAS). Human-being is also the existence of culture, meaning and reflection.According to these, the existence form of human-being has profuse methodology implication such as teaching research should be based on practice and should attach importance to metaphor as well as the account of oneself who is investigated. The dissertation tries to analyze teaching system according to the existence form of human-being and the complexity science in the end.
