The basic task of higher Moral Education is to perceive patriotism, collectivism and Socialism, to strengthen the construction of social ethics, the professional morality and to build family virtues. It can also lead university students to build up the common ideal of constructing socialism characteristic of China and the right outlook on world on life and social values. Marxism is the powerful theory weapon of the proletarian and people to understand the word and to change the world. It is the basic guiding idea of our party and our country It is the ideological mainstream of our country. The subject of Marxism theory which is taken as "the man channel" and "man ideological front" is an obligatory course for every students. The moral functions of Marxism, theory education is to provide spiritual prop and theoretical guidance for university students to establishing the right outlook on world on life and values gradually. It also help students to form correct thinking ways, to cultivate great ideal, to set up scientific conviction and even the attitudes and ways they conduct themselves in society.Moral Functions of Marxism Theory Education is determined by the essence of Marxism theory which is the unity of scientific outlook on world and methodology. It is up to now the most influential and vital scientific theory system of mankind. It reveals scientifically the common laws which govern the development of the natural world, the society and the thinking.It reveals the essential features of capitalism society and puts forward the scientific inference of "Two Necessities" which provide theoretical guidance for conforming with the laws and purposes of development.How does the moral function reflect in higher moral education and how to function it when educate university students? These are discussed in the four parts of this thesis.The first part is about the importance of Marxism Theory Education it is determined by the challenge of our Moral Education and the importance of Marxismtheory is the obligatory course of every university students, it is the "main channel" and "main ideological front" in our higher Moral Education system.The second part is the main body of this thesis which discuss about the Moral function of Marxism theory Education. Firstly, Marxism theory education provide the right outlook on world on life and values; secondly, it helps students form correct thinking ways and great ideal.The third part is about the current situation of Marxism theory education. The current performance of university students reflects them is some way but the influence is not very obvious. Besides the social factor, the causes of the school education are mainly like these: firstly, there exist some pragmatism in Marxism theory education; secondly, the uncertainty of Marxism theory education itself hinders its influence of penetration to the university students. Thirdly, the in congruity between the high requirement of Marxism theory education and the different levels of the reality when carrying out the Moral Education does exist. And last, teaching ways of Marxism theory education and the quality of the teachers need to be improved.The fourth part discuss the ways of functioning Marxism theory education. Firstly we must set up the idea of " take man as foundation". Secondly, guiding students with Marxism theory education Marxism theory is forwarding with the time which must be kept in heart and put into practice. Only by this way can be university students grasp the regulation of the existence and development of the world and follow them. Thirdly improve the quality of faculty and teaching methods.In conclusion, the moral effects of Marxism Theory education upon the students of forming outlook on world, on life and values is obvious. At the same time, moral education is influenced by complex factors in many ways from society. It is facing challenge from all sides. So it is necessary to bring forth new ideas in the serial relative problems of Marxism theory Education.
