Study On The Role And Countermeasure Of Vocational Education In Building Well-off Society

The 16th National Congress of the CPC defined the objective of "building a well-off society in an all-round way" in the new period. Vocational education will play a very important role in the realization of "building a well-off society in an all-round way", as it is closely related to the economic and social development. Meanwhile, this objective will be a great opportunity to boost vocational education.Based on the basic situation of economic and social development and human resources in China, this paper dedicated in the discussion of the important role that vocational education plays in promoting economic development, pushing forward urbanization, realizing reemployment, optimizing and upgrading human resources and eventually realizing the objective of "building a well-off society in an all-round way". Moreover, taking into consideration the existing difficulties in promoting vocational education in China, and learning from the foreign experience in this regard, effective strategies are also put forward so as to make the vocational education of our country jump out of the "low ebb" and seek further growth. The following strategies should be used: deepening the understanding of the development of vocational education, improving the modern vocational education system, focusing secondary vocational education in rural areas, enhancing vocational training, accelerating the development of certification and employment access system and implementing employment-oriented teaching reform so as to seek better development of vocational education. Hence, speeding up the realization of the objective of "building a well-off society in an all-round way".
