A Study Of The Present Prostitute Group In Our Country

As a kind of long-standing social phenomenon, prostitution has been dwelt upon with great relish, but there is little academic research. In the nearly 20 past years, the prostitute group of our country has been expanding. With the constant development of the society, more and more persons begin to pay close attention to this outlying group. This dissertation puts the prostitute group under the great background that our country is in the social transformation period at present, relies mainly on documents analysis, with the interview method of the case complemented, under the guidance of a kind of comprehensive theory, analyses the inside structure state, the social status, the origin and the characteristics of the prostitute group in a objective and sociological way.The whole dissertation divides into four chapters altogether.Chapter one begins with the research background, introduces and comments on the past theories briefly, then explains the relevant concept, the concrete content, the research approach and the meanings of the study in detail.Chapter two analyses the inside structure state of the prostitute group, and judge the social status of theirs from different angles.Chapter three probes into the origin cause of the prostitute group deeply, and emphasizes on the changing functions of the different factors at present.Chapter four is on the basis of analyzing the changing characteristics and consequences of the prostitute group, discusses the different countermeasures of the prostitute. At last the author put forward the views of his own.
