A Study On The Main Factors Of Social Districts At Prefecture Level And Above In China During The Transformation Period

Since 2000,China has entered a period of rapid social and economic transformation.The imbalances in economic development are being transformed into more complex social and regional imbalances,which promotes the restructuring of China's urban social space during the transition period.At present,most domestic researches on urban social spatial structure are empirical studies of relatively independent single cities,which are difficult to integrate and summarize,and there is a lack of systematic comparative studies of multiple cities.This paper takes China's prefecture-level and above cities as the research object,based on the data of the fifth national census in 2000 at the scale of streets and towns,and uses the comparative factorial ecological analysis method to study the main factors of China's urban social areas during the transition period,and probes into the basic factors and distribution characteristics of urban social areas in China with the help of cluster analysis and other tools.Based on the data of streets and towns in the fifth census in 2000,this paper selects and derives the census data indicators;uses the population density of street and town units and the proportion of built-up areas to identify and extract the central urban area,and constructs a spatial database suitable for the factor analysis of urban social areas in China through data processing;uses the statistical analysis software to analyze the factors Sub analysis method is used to extract the main factors of each urban social area,generate the load matrix of each urban factor,and combine them according to the factor sequence to get the load matrix of each sequence factor of multiple cities;cluster analysis method is used to extract the main factor types of each sequence of multiple cities,and judge whether there are universal main factors of social area(basic factors);based on the results of factor analysis,in GIS and statistical software This paper analyzes the distribution characteristics of the basic factors of urban social areas in the regional level,urban scale level and urban function type system,summarizes the relevant research and theories at home and abroad,constructs the analysis framework of influencing factors applicable to this study,and uses binary logistic Regression analysis model is used to analyze the relationship between the basic factors of urban social area and urban scale,urbanization process,housing market reform and industrialization process.The results showed that: 1)Research reveals that in 2000,there were four basic factors in urban social areas in China: urbanization process,family life cycle,housing conditions and socio-economic status;2)These four basic factors relate to the spatial distribution difference of the number of cities,which comes from the regional distribution of the city itself,while the regional difference of the urban coverage is not particularly obvious.3)The three basic factors of urbanization process,family life cycle and housing conditions are obviously positively related to the stage of industrialization and urban scale.
