The Research Of College Entrance Examination Policies Of Our Country From 1978-the Variance And Enlightenment Of Value

College entrance examination is the topic that fetches many people's attention. It is convenient that setting about studying the reformation and development of college entrance examination from college entrance examination policies. The research with policy science gradually formed an independent research field since the 1990s in China. The value is important factor to establishing policy, therefore studying the variance of the value contained in college entrance examination policies is an extremely meaningful job. In 1978 after the Cultural Revolution, college entrance examination resumed in an all- round way, such as form and content, and so on. In the past over twenty years, college entrance examination policies have given many modifications with social's advance. This article choose angle of value to study reformation and development of college entrance examination policies since 1978. Through this research, we hope to have a clear understanding to college entrance examination reformation and development and inherent variance of value of policies. On the basis of these facts, we have drawn some enlightenment of establishing policy and put forward some suggestions, we hope which can really benefit to establishing college entrance examination policies. In the aspect of approach, because the research involves certain time span and many policy texts, so we use history to study and relatively study methods mainly.The article consists of five parts. The first part is introduction. It mainly explains the importance and meaning of the subject; it also defines several main concepts, such as college entrance examination, policy, value, etc. Second part is the review of reformation and development of college entrance examination policies since 1978. According to the relevant gist of a document of Ministry of Education, we have analyzed college entrance examination policies from four respects: college entrance examination subject, college entrance examination content, college entrance examination form and admission way. Through analysis, we grasp general skeleton of the development of college entrance examination policies. The third part is variance of the value in college entrance examination policies since 1978. From analysis on policies development of college entrance examination, we see that the value contained in college entrance examination policies since 1978 have varied in four following respects: First of all, college entrance examination has strengthened examination to ability gradually; Secondly, the flexible diversification gradually of college entrance examination; Moreover, college entrance examination power transfers to each province and municipality and school gradually; Finally, college entrance examination policies reflect gradually the humanistic care to students. The fourth part is enlightenment and proposition. From the study on value variance, we get some enlightenment: First, close connection and advance depending each other are the relation among society, value and college entrance examination policy; Second, thereformation of college entrance examination advances in the order and step by step; Third, efficiency and fair are two goals that college entrance examination pursues; Fourth, new technological means are capable assistants of college entrance examination policies reformation. Through study of value variance and enlightenment, in line with the attitude that everyone has a share of responsibility for the fate of his country, we have put forward some suggestions. First, the policy maker of college entrance examination should study constantly and establish the correct value; Second, the policy maker of college entrance examination should pay attention to the fair and efficiency question, and prudently deal with the relation between them; Third, college entrance examination policy should adhere to the care to examinees, and promote the further flexibility of college entrance examination; Fourth, university should pay attention to justice and science in enrolling new students, and set up rat...
