Research On The Socialization Of The Peasant-workers' Children

With the acceleration of the industrialization, urbanization and modernization of our country, lots of surplus laborers in the rural area go to work in the city, and this has greatly influenced their children's growing up well. Whether the children can grow up well not only affects their own prospects and future, but also has a bearing on the future population quality and modernization of our country. After the general introduction of some theories on socialization factors, process and mechanism, the article analyses the negative socialization effects on the children's growing up of the peasant-workers from three angles such as family, school and society. Then the article puts forward a series of countermove and suggestion to solve these children's socialization problems. Due to limited space, the article doesn't involve much the positive effects but it raises this subject at last, so as to provoke more researchers' interest in dealing with the positive effects as well as the negative ones.
