With the process of population mobility,more and more children come from country to city with their parents,they live and study in the city. Compare with the children of the peasant-workers studying in the public school,we are afraid of the city adapting situation for these children who are studying in the private school for the children of the peasant-workers.The thesis describes,on the base of statistical inves-tigation and practical research, the city adapting situation for these children who are studying in the private school for the children of the peasant-workers, including mentality adapting, relation adapting, city life adapting, learning situation. The children of peasant-workers cannot adapt city life well in the psychological or in the acts, these will ultimately affect their learning. Although they have beautiful ideals and aspirations, have a positive attitude towards life, self-reliant life skills, with clear learning goals, and certain partner groups,the envi-ronment,inculding the family environment, the school environment, and the whole social environment,is harmful for their Socialization.So, Au-thor thinks, family, school,compeer colony and the masses medium may affect their city adapting situation. All of the badness ingredients put the children of the peasant-workers into a very disadvantage position. Generally speaking, the city adapting situation for the children of the peasant-workers is just a part adapting. In the last, thesis points out some advices that can enhance and improve the city adapting situation for the children of the peasant-workers.
