English reading comprehension is a very important part in English teaching.With the development of the whole human being society, education is increasinglyfocusing on the understanding among different countries. Students in post vocationalschool should not only master a skill but also know something about other fields.There is an increasing demand for students in post vocational school in readingcomprehension. Compared with listening and spoken English, cultivating students'capability of reading comprehension in post vocational school is somewhereneglected. It is an urgent task to improve those students'capability of readingcomprehension. According to Schema Theory and students'particularity of being lackof confidence and having no interest in study in post vocational schools, it is proposedby this paper that we can cultivate students'capability of reading comprehension inpost vocational school by reading extensively in a humanly appreciative and thereforeencouraging environment. To achieve this purpose, this paper fulfills six tasks:Firstly, applying appreciation in reading comprehension-teaching process.Secondly, cultivating students'interest in reading.Thirdly, solving the problem of vocabulary,grammar in reading.Fourthly, providing suitable reading materials.Fifthly, fostering students'habits of fast reading.sixthly, improving students'reading skills and so on.In a word, this paper combines emotion education with schema theory tocultivate students'capability of reading comprehension in post vocational school.
