The renewal of idea is one of the key to educational reform of kindergarten. With thedevelopment of society and the deepness of reform, it is necessary for deep going the reformto advance and form new educational idea, which accords with the time sprits. Starting fromaspects of philosophy, aesthetics, linguistics and so on, and linking to the regulations andcharacteristics of physical and psychological development of children, this thesis advances theidea of art-language representation of children (abbreviating it to the idea following) whichembodies the time sprits and the educational developmental trends, and takes path breakingstudy on the advanced realistic basics and value, the connotation and the orientation, thetheoretical basics and the basic demands on the educational practice of kindergarten. This thesis consists four chapters: Chapter one: This chapter analyzes the developmental needs and trends of the presentsociety, art and education, and then discusses the advanced realistic basics and the value of theidea. The values are that it helps to foster the talents that the modern society needs andpromotes the overall harmonious development of children's personality. Chapter two: This chapter gives the definition of the idea and takes the orientation to theidea, and analyzes the thoughts included in the idea: art-language is an important manner tomaster the world for children; art-language is an important measure to satisfy the need ofspecial representation for children; the activities of art-language representation is an importantapproach to promote the overall development for children. Chapter three: This chapter discusses the theoretical basics of the idea from four aspectsof philosophy, aesthetics, linguistics and psychology. Chapter four: On the basis of explaining the basic principles of the idea guiding on theeducational practice, this thesis advances the basic demands on the formulation of aim, thechoosing of content, the design of the synthetic activity and the providing of material, and theevaluation of the activity of art-language representation of children.
