On Education Of Advanced Chinese Culture Upon Contemporary University Students

Advanced Chinese culture is the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics. It is under the guide of Marx-Leninism, the Thought of Mao Zedong, the Theory of Deng Xiaoping and the essential thought of "Three Representatives" . It aims to cultivate the citizens with" Four You" (ideals .morals, knowledge, discipline),Modernization-oriented,world-o riented, future-oriented;national, scientific and massive culture. It is the engine of the economic development of China, the horn of political reform, soul of social progress; internal demand of the life of the people.The contemporary college students are the precious gift resources of our country, the hope of the Chinese Nation and the future hope of our motherland. In face of the complicated inner and outer situations day by day, it is worth considering and studying for the institutions of higher learning to educate the college students and foster fresh activists with advanced Chinese culture. It not only embodies the socialist educational orientation, but also provides powerful mental engine and intelligent support for the modernizations of the PRC.This dissertation tries hard to study how to cultivate contemporary college students in ideals and beliefs, national spirits, morals and scientific culture in the following ways: cultural quality of education in higher institutions; cultural activities in campus and the construction of network in schools. It aims to provide theoretical support and judging rules for the strengthening and promotion of education in thought and politics.
