On The Alien Motivation Of Applying For Party Membership Among Contemporary College Students

Marxist political party is an advanced organization by the people and for the people,the future of which depends on youth. As a burgeoning group with advanced scientific andcultural knowledge, the contemporary college students have become an important source ofparty members, and play an indispensable role in the political foundation of ChineseCommunist Party. The college students should take up the great mission of impelling thesocialist career with Chinese feature, so their ideological and ethical standard, togetherwith their scientific and cultural knowledge, determines the future of our country andnation. Whether their motivations of joining the Chinese Communist Party are correct ornot relates closely with the overall development of college students, the purity and strengthof Party, as well as the stability and development of socialist country.Nowadays, the international surroundings are featured by integrated economy,multi-polarized politics, diversified culture and informative science. In the course ofaccelerating social transformation in China, college students are active and enthusiastic inapplying for Party membership, but the problems about the alien applications arise as well.Based on the past relevant researches, this paper follows the theories of Marxistdialectical materialism and historical materialism. Under the background of socialtransition in China, this paper aims at illustrating the problems of alien application forParty membership with the premise of comprehending the general feature of Chinesecollege students objectively and appropriately. Through summarizing and analyzing thegeneral situation of applying for Party membership, this paper focuses on how tosystematize, theorize the problems and upgrade them as the important consideration andexperience in constructing party organizations among college students. Furthermore, thispaper carries out some explorations and innovations on how to prevent the alien application,and provides a new perspective in consolidating the Party organizations among collegestudents.There are four parts in this thesis. The first part is introduction, mainly about themeaning of this research, the domestic and foreign researches concerning this subject and the relevant research modes and methods. The second part explains the motivation ofapplying for Party membership, the definition of alien application and the importance ofanalyzing the problems of alien application in contemporary college students. The thirdpart analyzes these problems in detail and the relevant influences are discussed in this partas well. The last part of this thesis puts forwards the relevant thinking methods andstrategies from the perspective of constructing a sound mechanism to guide the collegestudents’ application for Party membership.
