A Study Of Changes In History Classroom Teaching Styles

Changing teaching styles is one of the main tasks of reforming new courses. It is also a fundamental need to effectively carry out quality education. This paper starts with the definition of teaching mode and then analyzes four education & courses reforming documents and History Course Criterion issued by Central Government, State Department and Ministry of Education. Besides, this paper studies the problems of History Classroom Teaching in the experimental areas. Aiming at the problems mentioned, this paper puts forward some strategies of changing teaching approaches for reference.This paper consists of preface and the main body which is made up of three parts.The preface is mainly about the significance of writing this paper and about the definition of teaching approach and some relevant information and the major points of this study.The body of this thesis respectively studies the following problems.The target of changing history classroom teaching approaches. To achieve this goal, there should be a transfer for History teachers in their teaching approaches, that is from emphasis on teachers' teaching and students' learning to that on interactive communication, with students as co-participants, instead of teachers dominating the learning and teaching process; from emphasis on pure knowledge and conclusion to that on the process and the approaches; from emphasis on the system of the subject knowledge to that on students' comprehensive development; from emphasis on the students as a whole to that the individual differences.
