Behavior change technology is an important strategy in teaching of mentally retarded school. With the increasing of social attention, awareness and acceptance of children with special needs have been improved accordingly. In addition to the mentally retarded students, the number of students with autism, cerebral palsy, multiple disabilities and other types constantly increase constantly in mentally retarded schools. Thus more behavior problems appear. Therefore, behavior change technology in the classroom is becoming more important.In order to deal with mentally retarded students’ behavioral problems, upgrade the quality of education as well as provide a reference for related research. This study, based on the example of XX mentally retarded schools in Dalian, analyzes and studies the current situation and affecting factors of the application of behavioral change technology.This study summarizes the various elements associated with the study by reviewing relevant research data abroad extensively and combining with the actual situation of the study. Then "Mentally Retarded Classroom Behavior Change Techniques Observation Record" and "Faculty Interview Outline of Mentally Retarded Schools" come out. Based on the example of teachers’ behavioral change technology and students’ behavioral problems in mentally retarded schools in Dalian, this study, combining interviews and observational data and information obtained by the daily conversation, analyzes three aspects from classroom teaching mentally retarded behavior change technology overall situation, teachers and behavioral changes associated with the application of technology and different factors affecting the application of behavior modification techniques.Conclusions :1. mentally retarded classroom behavior change technology application is very common, the two most common methods of behavior change is to strengthen the law and a model / model law; most teachers are immediately apparent when the behavior occurs behavior change techniques, and the results better than the other times; classroom behavior change techniques used mostly played a bad behavior to eliminate or weaken the effect of maintaining and building good behavior.2. professional background in special education teachers with respect to the non-specific background in teaching teachers in classroom behavior and positive changes in the wider application of the technology; with increasing seniority of teachers flexibility in the use of technological change behavior corresponding enhancement.3. The application of technology to change behavior depends on individual factors( barriers, age, etc.) and environmental factors( teaching, curriculum, etc.) of the joint action;Behavior change technology to low- grade segment, mainly for handling hyperactivity and behavioral events disrupt the classroom two categories; traditional knowledge taught courses in arts and operate than stylistic courses more use of behavior change techniques; taught link behavior change techniques used more often, while the lower part of the use of less activity.Education thus asked the following recommendations:1. To improve the level of teacher behavior change technology applications;2. Low-grade students focus on behavioral training, promote the establishment of good behavior;3. Focus on teaching and student participation intuitive, reduce the incidence of problem behaviors;4. Vigorously develop materials for our students, pay attention to the curriculum;5. reasonable use of behavior change techniques.
