Research On The Ideological State And Countermeasures Of Economically Underprivileged Student Group In Universities

With the establishment of our market economic system and deepening of the reform of higher education system, our higher education has developed rapidly recently. But at the same time, in the course of the system transformation and development, some new contradictions and problems have arisen unavoidably, among which the emergence of the economically underprivileged student group is one of the most prominent problems. All the ideological and political educators in universities face the same problems as follows: how to probe the causes of the formation of this student group? how to explore the common psychological tendencies and ideological state existed in the economically underprivileged student group and how to find and strengthen new approaches of ideological and political education of the economically underprivileged student group? All the above problems are what this thesis tries to study and solve.This thesis is divided into four parts. In Part One, based on the first- hand material inquired from the investigation, the writer illustrates the poverty state of the economically underprivileged student group in universities and expounds the cause of formation of the economically underprivileged student group in universities from the following aspects, such as, the reform of higher educational system, the disequilibrium of economic development between areas, poor family condition and so on.
