The fact that class-teaching replaced the individualized instruction makes the teaching more scientific and promotes the teaching's development However, the class-teaching is similar to synchronized instruction because it over-emphasizes all the students learn the same content at the same speed during the same time. And this means the differences among students are ignored. Nowadays, we can't fall back to individualized instruction and the class-teaching is still the main trend. In this condition, the pose of differentiate instruction can partly alleviate the class-teaching current situation and reflect the concern that education should give every student. Thus, in this paper, I research the theory and practice about differentiate instruction. I try to clarify the concept of differentiate instruction and give the teachers some help.In this paper, I bring the service into the research domain. This is based on two reasons. One is the lack of service in our current teaching, and the other originates from the differentiate instruction. In the support of serving for every student, this study focuses on the feature of differentiate instruction , the essential opinions on teaching and teachers and the enforcement of differentiate instruction.After the literature-analysis, the author believe that differentiate instruction is a kind of teaching which regards the difference existing among students as resources and requires the teachers to care the differences by improving and altering his teaching to accelerate every student get all-round, healthy, lasting development. And it is an integration of class-teaching and individualized instruction. This study shows that the differentiate instruction has four characteristics, namely, paying attention to students' self-choice; paying attention to students' needs; paying attention to students' participation and responsibility; paying attention to teaching's quality. Paying attention to students' self-choice asks the teachers to provide the students diversified and differentiate-dealed teaching resources. At the same time, the teachers should give the students some chances to choose their studying achievement . Paying attention to students' needs asks the teachers to change the present natural environment and psychology environment so that the students canhave chance to show his needs. Moreover, the teachers must concern the students' common needs and different needs. Paying attention to students' participation and responsibility asks the teachers to change his teaching behavior and teaching opinion. In teaching, the teachers should improve the students' responsibility consciousness and ability. Paying attention to teaching quality builds in the special evaluation to teaching quality from the differentiate instruction which insists the only standard of teaching quality is the degree of students' satisfaction to the teaching.On the foundation of the analysis above, differentiate instruction casts off the traditional teaching metaphor and fix its position on service. It emphasizes the teachers promote each student to get lasting and healthy development by changing and improving their teaching quality and teaching ability. After the theory analysis, this study applies for two tactics to guarantee the success of differentiate instruction. One is talked from the micrographic view, the other is talked from the microcosmic view. The former includes to group the students according to their ability in different classes and in the same class. The latter includes to absorb other elements including other special teachers, the companions and the computer into classroom to change the reality that one teacher faces many students. The microcosmic tactic tries to give the teachers some advice to make their teaching can match the students' preparation, interest and learning style. The flexible use of each tactic needs the teachers to estimate the students before class beginning, observe the students during the class and reflect on the teaching after class.
