Research On Motivation Mechanism Of Teachers In Colleges And Universities

Colleges and universities human resource is a top priority in education resource, human resource development and management is the key to personnel system reformation, faculty structure, education quality and benefit. Motivation mechanism plays an important role in human resource management and development of colleges and universities. How to optimize motivation mechanism is significant to attract talents, explore staff potential, build competitive environment.On the basis of research on current motivation mechanism of teachers, according to the existing problems of motivation mechanism in practice, this thesis aims to improve and optimize motivation mechanism of teachers in colleges and universities, by means of the theories and methods of management, management psychology, human resource management and development, education management and behavior science. The thesis firstly expatiates on motivation and main motivation theories, which lays the theory foundation for the whole thesis. Then it analyses the character of teachers, sums up motivation mode of teachers and the existing problems of it. Based on these, it proposes management by objective motivation mechanism and emotional management motivation mechanism. Furthermore, it puts forwards building competitive environment through the real appointment system, puts forwards the ways of scientific performance assess system, puts forwards rational pay and compensation system, especially pays attention to the soft pay and compensation, in addition, the thesis points out building young teacher's subject encouragement mechanism. In conclusion, how to enhance teachers' enthusiasm is complicated system engineering. Every motivation and mode should be used synthetically in the management practice.
