Writing in English has been weak in language teaching in senior school. Whether teaching method or teaching result is far from satisfactory. Writing is a kind of process in which students express themselves in English by means of experiencing in person and understanding. Only in real practice can students experience the whole writing develop and improve writing skill and competence. But traditional teaching approach in writing just ignore students as the center in class, teacher's teaching in place of students.Considering the reforming demands that education is facing, we think it essential to reform traditional writing teaching approaches. At the base of the outcome of cooperative learning theory in the 1970s-80s in America, we put forward 'group cooperative' writing strategy, that is, trying applying the concept of participating positively, ready to quest, communicating and cooperating to the classroom ,to facility students' enthusiasm and interest in English, foster and improve writing ability.
