Objective: (1) to work out the questionnaire that suits measuring middle school students' English learning self-efficacy to measure current middle school students' English learning self-efficacy status. (2) to explore the most influencing factors which affect middle school students' English learning self-efficacy. (3) to find out the method to develop students' English learning self-efficacy by controlling experimental variable in natural setting. Methods: adopt questionnaire-investigation to collect data, then adopt SPSS10.0 and LISREL8.30 to deal with them.Results: (1)English learning self-efficacy is made up of behavior self-efficacy, capability self-efficacy, strategy self-efficacy. (2) There were significant differences among middle school students from different areas, sexes, grades, ages, and mothers' educational level. (3)Stepwise regression shows foreign languages anxiety, learning skills, learning attitude, fathers' too much interference, fathers' refusal and negation, neurology affect middle school students' English learning self-efficacy. (4) Subjects with high self-efficacy were significantly higher than those with low self-efficacy in learning adaptation, parents upbringing styles, social support and foreign language learning anxiety, while there was no remarkable difference in personality between two groups. (5) Summarize the pattern of training middle school students' English learning self-efficacy by comparing controlled classes and uncontrolled classes. Conclusion: Educators should pay more attention to training students English learning self-efficacy.
