In recent years the quality of the vocational students has been declining due to the enlargement of university admission. Those students have lost interests in learning, especially in mathematics. As a result,they lack of self-confidence.The writer analyzes the reasons for the phenomena by a questionnaire and finds out that the students don't have theinquiring in mathematics . including lack of outlook on mathematics ; nor-intelligence elements; drop in level from junior middle school to senior middle school; teachers' level; differences of learning methods etc.In order to improve their learning efficacy. The writer puts forwards the teaching strategy for the vocational students:First, the teachers should help their students build a correct outlook for mathematics and acquire cognitive experience and emotional experience in mathematics learning.Secondly, the teachers should cultivate their students' initiative learning quality and enhance their sense of efficiency.Finally, the teachers must strengthen their students' self-control abilities and improve their meta-cognition as a target.Teachers will have a better understanding of their students through the learning results and the experiments in the classes they teach.
