Cultural heritage is the only one, non-renewable. To the explanatory note of the conceptof the cultural heritage, generally, we adopt the exposition about cultural heritage andinvisible cultural heritage of UNESCO in the world. The article based on the explanation fixesfor the concept of cultural heritage again: The cultural heritage is what is left over in thehuman evolution, representative and can reflect the things or consciousness of characteristicof the time, culture intension, artistic creation at a certain stage. The cultural heritage is thebest teaching material raising national quality, strengthening national cohesion, training thepatriotic feelings. It is the material object of history that is witnessed too. It is the valuablewealth of the human various nationalities. To protect the cultural heritage is human commonmission. It needs diversified support, such as law ensurance, financial support and disposedpersonnel. Especially it needs the whole society to possess the cultural heritage protectiveconsciousness. It can be educated through large ways to make the whole society possess the culturalheritage protective consciousness –media promotion, government guide ect… But amongthem the most effective and convenient way is to regard the school as the position, especiallyby history –the discipline with unique advantage to train students' cultural heritage protectiveconsciousness. To train students' cultural heritage protective consciousness has not merely agifted advantage, but important meaning in the historical teaching of the middle school. It isan effective shortcut for students to receive the education in patriotism, quality-orientededucation, legal education and human spirit. Also, it is an effective shortcut passing thehistorical marrow on. So it is very necessary to implement the education about the culturalheritage protective consciousness in the historical teaching of the middle school. In order to do so, teachers must make the proper goal for it first. Teachers need to fullyconsider new course idea to make the goal and make sure to pay close attention to students'development in an all-round way and change in ways of study ect… In teaching teachersshould stick to the principle of the same importance of ideological education and passing onknowledge, and stick to relying mainly on students, according with students agecharacteristics. Teachers should pay attention to the choice of course resources. This textexcavates deeply the new historical teaching material of high school, and refines out thecontent for the cultural heritage to educate in the teaching material. Moreover, the text offersfour kinds of methods which is taken in the historical teaching of the middle school toimplement the education about the cultural heritage proactive consciousness and offers thecorresponding case.
