Chinese rooted from life and it's impossible to study Chinese outside life. The present Chinese teaching often goes its own way without being together with life. The fact that Chinese is Chinese and life is life causes many problems including the relationships of class and contents of study. Then the problems prevent the development of students' imagination.Open-ended teaching approach is stated relatively to the close-ended teaching approach. Since 1970s, with the statement of "Open-ended problem teaching approach" by Japanese scholars, "Open-ended teaching approach" has become the pop topic in the international math educational area. Thus Chinese teaching have to relate to life and try on a open-minded way.I have been trying to attempt open-minded teaching in my daily teaching work on the base of precious study of historical teachers. The study shows that open-minded teaching have its own characters, activity, multi and open-mind. The approach stimulates students attendance and make them build up their knowledge system and study by themselves.This essay emphasizes the combination of theories and practice, and lots of researches of teaching examples have been done. Having chosen this pop topic, the purpose of this essay is to talk about the experience and reflection of the "Open-ended teaching approach" by the Chinese teachers in daily teaching in junior high schools.
