"High school geography curriculum standard(2017 Edition)" puts forward "pay attention to problem-based teaching" in the implementation suggestions,and proposes for the first time to strengthen the design of open-ended problems,advocate and encourage students to show open thinking and innovative performance.However,some teachers still have a vague understanding of the connotation of open-ended problems,and they are still confused about the design of open-ended problems.Therefore,this paper defines the connotation of open-ended problems: a kind of geographical problems that need students' comprehensive thinking and divergent thinking to hypothesize,explore and verify.This study first analyzes and summarizes the geographical open-ended problems and their related design by using the method of literature,and puts forward the connotation of the geographical open-ended problems.Then it investigates the current situation of the design of the geographical open-ended problems in senior high school by using the method of questionnaire survey,and uses spss26.0 for data statistical analysis to get the current situation of the design of the geographical open-endedproblems in senior high school,In view of the problems,this paper puts forward the design principles and Strategies of open-ended problems with the characteristics of geography.Finally,by using the experimental method,according to the design strategies of open-endedproblems,this paper designs open-ended problem cases,and interviews 2 students from each experimental class,so as to understand the students' feelings when answering the open-ended problems and evaluate the designed open-ended problems.Based on the reading of literature and in-depth thinking of open-ended problems,this study puts forward the connotation of open-ended problems in geography,and makes further thinking on the connotation of open-ended problems in geography,classifies open-ended problems in detail,enriches the relevant theories of open-ended problems in geography;based on the investigation and analysis of the current situation of open-ended problems design for high school teachers,this paper puts forward some suggestions This paper puts forward the design principles and Strategies of geography open-ended problems,designs the cases of geography open-ended problems,and draws the conclusion,which can provide reference for the majority of front-line teachers to design open-ended problems.
