Prosocial behavior is the important behavior in the course of the individual socialization, which is of great importance to the health development of individual and social adapt, therefore, it is paid much attention by the developing psychologists and social psychologists. With the self-designed experimental teaching method and the base of the research about cultivating students prosocial behavior by predecessors, this study makes further research on the possibility and effect of cultivating students prosocial behavior in physical education, so as to provide reliable basis for developing students in an all-round way morally, intellectually and physically in physical education.The experiment randomly chooses 87 pupils from two classes of grade three of Xihu Primary School as the samples, then divide them into experimental class and non-influenced class. After eight weeks' experimental teaching and regular teaching to two groups, compare the effect of the experimental class and non-influenced class. The result shows:(1) It is feasible to cultivate student prosocial behavior in physical education. Most methods of prosocial behavior cultivation can be taken into practice in physical education, such as responsibility cultivation and values education. There are many effective facts for cultivating students prosocial behavior in physical education, which can be good education contents.(2) It is effective to cultivate students' prosocial behavior in physical education. After the experiment of improving students' prosocial behavior to the experimental class, the experimental class is higher than the non-influenced class on the level of prosicail behavior.(3) Girls are higher than boys on the level of prosicail behavior, but boys are higher than girls on the level of cooperative behavior. Afterthe experiment, the students of experimental class improved evidently on the level of helping behavior, donating behavior and cooperative behavior.
