Significance And Way Of Training Middle School Students In Equation Ideology

Equation ideology is the basic mathematics thought, which includes three meaning: thought of unity between number and symbol; thought of thinking about and solve some problems in other field in equation ideology way; thought of drawing equation questions from other knowledge systems. It is the need for Middle school students to master equation ideology. Equation ideology is the origin of modern mathematics, which forms its special world standpoint and method theory. Furthermore, equation ideology is also the treasure of Chinese mathematics, there is a practical significance for middle school students to carry on Chinese mathematics civilization.This paper probes into the situation of middle school students though questionnaire about equation ideology, and generalizes some factors influencing equation ideology, they are: students' degree in equation ideology; students' realization constitution, teaching style; ability of students in summarization; characters of model, etc.This paper summarizes several ways though teach practice combined with theories of psychology and education: emphasize on training students in acquiring basic equation knowledge in direction of middle school teaching material; emphasize on training students in acquiring whole knowledge by teaching them some knowledge besides equation itself; emphasize on training students to understand thoroughly by examples-illustration to perfect students' realization structure; emphasize on "process teaching", in which there are some problems deserving to pay attention to; emphasize on model teaching, though which a teaching way: from generality to particularity can be got.This paper aims to illustrate it is important for teacher to understand the significance of equation ideology; to teach students by applying advanced education theory.
