As entering the twenty-first century, people has already reached an extensive understanding for the relationship between campus' culture and aesthetic education- campus' culture can have a significant effect upon the usage of aesthetic education. The paper, after giving the definition and intension of campus' culture and aesthetic education, come to an conclusion that campus1 culture is one of the most important ways to cultivate beauty-enjoying and beauty-creating of the students', and illustrate that campus' culture has a function comparing with the other ways of aesthetic education through citing campus' culture' characteristics-rich, deciding for itself, practical and creating. Of course, although the paper give a discussion about the functions of campus' culture to aesthetic education, it doesn't mean that the other ways of aesthetic education have no any position. In this way we just want to attract people' positive attention to campus' culture construction and come to know that it is one of the most important ways to practice aesthetic education. The paper points out some problems about enhancing the students' beauty-enjoying and beauty-creating by campus' culture construction, and in the last part of the paper analyzes the reasons and give some proposals and strategies.The paper will be divided into three parts to discuss the functions of campus' culture to aesthetic education.The first part is the definition and intension of campus' culture and aesthetic education. Campus culture is a kind of total performance of material and soul wealth that is created by the teachers and students and its aim is to educate the students. It includes campus' material culture, campus' system culture and campus' soul culture. Aesthetic education is a kind of total education which, through knowledge's teaching and skills' training of beauty-enjoying and arts, makes the students' feeling and soul be affected and edified, and in order to improve their life attitudes and lift their life level.The second part is to illustrate the function of campus' culture to aesthetic education. Campus' culture is an important style and approach of aesthetic education. We can feel, show and create beauty by campus' culture. The characteristics of campus' culture, including its rich, deciding for itself, practical and creating, determine that campus' culture has an more unique effect on aesthetic education than any otherways. We should see the relationship between campus' culture and the other ways dialectically.The third part is how to enhance campus' culture construction and better exert the function of campus' culture in aesthetic education. First, analyzing some current problems in making use of campus' culture construction to enhance aesthetic education in our country. They are: 1. There are very few theories about aesthetic education and lack the corresponding senses and ideas of beauty-enjoying and beauty-creating. 2. It is normal for colleges and universities to give the indifference to aesthetic education and don't pay much attention to the positive function of campus' culture construction to aesthetic education. 3.Campus' culture construction is still in a nature-growing stage without any department to arrange it. 4.we have difficulty in evaluating aesthetic education's result and the administrative departments of colleges and universities do not attach much importance to aesthetic education truly. Second, in response, we hold the following strategies: 1.enhancing practically the research of aesthetic education theory and practice, enriching the sense of aesthetic education and paying much attention to the function of campus' culture in aesthetic education; 2.adding the activities for beauty-enjoying and beauty-creating and enlarging campus' lives; 3.noticing the objects, such as material, system, and soul, in the course of beauty-enjoying, establishing the committee for conducting campus' culture construction and making the campus become a real one, "a soul's home", but not a park or anything else.
