The Ideal of Science Curriculum is people's expectation for the value and the function of science curriculum, which is based on understanding the essence of science and science curriculum.Scientism unilaterally emphasizes positivism's spirit of confirmation and accordingly misconstrued the essence of science. The article revealed the essence of science after animadverting on scientism.The article deems that the essence of science mainly exists in four group of tension between two ends of contradictions. That is the tension between still and move, confirmation and disproval, truth and stipulation, utility and esse. Owing to science not neglecting human, science curriculum is to make the students be a man and to achieve harmony not only between human and nature but also between human and society.Viewing from the essence of science, science curriculum should be an interaction through subject and object as well as an intersubjective communion. Science curriculum is to make the students study science by themselves , in which they experience and research science on their own initiative. This article aims to reconceptualize the ideal of science curriculum. This is to make a naturalism, sociality and self-determination person.
