According to foreign language learning psychologists, the teacher couldn't know how to teach a foreign language unless he can understand the process of learning it and how to learn it. And during language learning, the students' role has been stressed on in all kinds of educational theories. The students' cognition, feeling, attitude and their original language level would greatly influence their foreign language learning. So it is very important for the teacher to analyze the students and their foreign language learning. In order to improve English teaching, the author tries to investigate and analyze the vocational and technical college students' English learning psychology and research their own specialty and characters in this paper.With the development of advanced vocational and technical education, more and more researchers have paid attention to the study of all kinds of its subjects. But up till now, there is still lack of investigations of the English learning psychology, especially from multiple aspects for the vocational students and fewer investigations with evidence. Being a special educated community, the vocational and technical college students have their own characters. It needs concerning more.
